Your path to Forsyth Tech starts here.

1. Determine State Residency If you live in North Carolina, you can save money on in-state college admission expenses. The Residency Determination Service (RDS) helps establish your status so you can apply to public colleges, universities and state aid programs. 


2. Complete Your Application Take the first step in your Forsyth Tech journey by filling out an application. 

The application is on the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) website. Log in with the same username and password you used for RDS. Hang tight! We will send you an email once your application has been processed. 


3. Financial Aid

While you wait for conformation that your application has been processed, go ahead and start applying for financial aid.
